Welder's Dog Up To No Good

At last the dogs have been put back on the leash long enough to get a few more tracks recorded. This time we are going to include lots of our cheeky songs including Dave's 21st century update "The MILD COLONIAL BOY", Mick's POQ song "A PIECE OF PEACE AND QUIET" and Peter's Sub-Prime song "MONEY TO BURN".

We'll give you some tasty samples as well. This one is the opening of Mick's soulfully wished for A Piece of Peace and Quiet.

'A SOLDIER'S STORY' placed in National
Collection of the Australian War Memorial

Written by Mick, this song looks at the coming home of a soldier from Afghanistan, from the perspective of the loved ones longing for his return.
Our artist friend Steve Hederics from the Artback Cafe in Wentworth NSW, contributed a series of stunning charcoal sketches for a video production
of the song. We are proud to have this heartfelt song accepted into the
National Collection. The audio track is available from
    and iTunes.

    Current CD's

Our two CDs cover slightly different aspects of our music. "TROUBADOUR"
is a collection of our enduring originals, with contributions from all three Dogs.
"OFF THE CHAIN" is a mix of originals and some of our favourite traditional
songs. The albums or individual tracks are available on and iTunes.
We do have a few limited edition CD's which we sell at our gigs.

The cover shows images from some of the song themes

    Troubadour CD
The cover shows Peter's Great Grandfather when he was a cowboy
in Uruguay. He was named Troubadour after the ship on which he was
    born, during a wild storm.
